Our air conditioning broke during 98 degree weather during the "quarantine" order.

Our first thought was to call Rick and our intuition was correct! Even though it was a Saturday, he was here in less than a half hour! With his mask on, he assessed the situation, actually had the part we needed on his truck, and cooled us off!!!

NO HEADACHE PROBLEM SOLVER

I'm extremely pleased and happy with HVAC System upgrade done by this Company over my House. Clean, Professional, Friendly, Experienced, and Smart are just a few words to highlight Rick Estrada, the Owner of this company, who also does the work. HVAC Installation also required house modifications, electrical circuit additions, roof modifications and miscellaneous construction, but, since luckily this company are Licensed General Contractors as well, all needed was a One Stop Solution, which for me, a homeowner, meant a No Headache Problem Solver. On top of that, financial options provided made all these incredible affordable.

QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM

Our air conditioning stopped working late Friday evening. The company we use for AC maintenance was closed. My wife called around and finally got a hold of the proprietor Of GRAND SLAM Air Conditioning Rick Estrada. He said he would be over at 8:00 Saturday Morning.

He showed up promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem. The blower motor need to be replaced. Since it was Saturday parts were hard to come by. But he persisted and called us at 8:00 pm to tell us he got the part needed then said he would be over at 8:00 am Sunday to install it.

Again he showed up promptly and within a half hour our air conditioning was working again. My wife wanted to tip him for making sure that we got our air conditioning back as soon as possible, which he refused.

Rick Estrada was very polite and seemed sincere and honest. I would highly recommend Grand Slam AC.

Rick came out immediately after I called. I had smoke coming out of my vents, and he identified the issue over the phone. He was honest, fast and professional. Thank you for fixing my AC when it's was 105-deg out!! I highly recommend!

CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT RICK AND GRAND SLAM AIR!

Can't say enough good about Rick and Grand Slam Air!!! My AC was blowing 78 degree air during our little heat spell last week so I called Rick after a referral from a friend. He came out a couple hours later and, after noticing very low Freon levels, he tried to recharge the system but, sadly, my compressor was shot. It was 14 years old and wasn't worth fixing so he recommended a whole new unit. Fast forward 2 days and my AC is blowing 55 degree air!! Rick was able to source the unit, hire a crane and schedule the install within 2 days! The whole process took about 4.5 hours. Last time I had an AC replaced, it took all day and the workers destroyed my walls getting the old unit out. Rick and his worker were super conscientious and even fixed a couple things that the previous AC company overlooked. Highly recommended!!!

The staff and service has been reliable, timely and reasonably priced ....I'm a fan. They also offer a variety of contractor services ...I have used them for relocating my air unit, regular service and for remodeling a bathroom...happy...happy...happy!

VERY AFFORDABLE AND GAVE FAST EXCELLENT SERVICE

Great service !!! Our AC broke down on the hottest day of the week, after calling multiple services who couldn't come the same day or weren't going to be able to come for hours we called Grand Slam and they came within an hour and fixed our AC and went to the store and changed our AC filters which was an added bonus. They are very affordable and gave fast excellent service. The repairman was very nice and efficient. You can't go wrong with these guys. Highly recommend them !!!

PRICE WAY BELOW OTHER ESTIMATES

I call Grand Slam Heating to repair my Heater at my parents house in Sherman Oaks knowing that I would probably need to replace the equipment as it was over 40 years old. My parents had gone ahead and gotten estimates to replace the equipment without my knowledge. Rick checked the equipment and verified that the heater had a crack in the heat exchanger and it can not be repaired. Advised it was time to upgrade and install new Heating and Air Conditioning system. He got back to be the next day. His price was way below the estimates my elderly parents had gotten. Thank god I took my friends advise to call Grand Slam Air Conditioning and Heating. The ordered the equipment and had it installed in 2 days. They were very respectful of my parents home and took every precaution to be Covid safe. They did a very clean job and left the place spotless. I told him I would be calling him in the Spring to Upgrade my equipment as well. Thanks again Rick. Will pass your number along to my family and friends.

UPGRADED US TO 16 SEER FOR THE PRICE OF A 14 SEER

I'm glad I found Grand Slam air conditioning and heating. After calling around we decided to go with them to install our new Air conditioning and Heating system. He even upgraded us to a 16 SEER equipment for the price of a 14 SEER. They were always on time, professional and his crew always left our house clean. They also will be coming back to change out our water heater to a Rheem Tankless. Can't wait to get that done. Thanks again Rick and your crew. I will recommend to family and friends.

The heater in my house went out about a week ago when it first started getting cold. Unfortunately, this was the same week that my wife came home with our newborn. I didnt know who to call, so I asked a friend of mine and he referred me to Grand Slam Heating and Air. He had used Grand Slam this past summer when his air conditioner went out during the heat wave so I gave him a call. He came out, took a look, and said that I should replace my heater because it was over 30 years old. He told me that he didnt recommend putting any more money into repairs on this unit. He wrote up an estimate and advised me to go and get a couple other estimates. He also mentioned that he had financing options available if I needed it. After calling a couple other companies to get written estimates, I decided that Rick gave me the best price and decided to go with him. I took him up on his financing options and they got the installation done in 2 days. Thanks again, Grand Slam and your crew. You guys did a great job and I will recommend your services to all my friends.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Rick from Grand Slam AC was so exceptional, I want to let everyone here know; not just my friends and family. Rick is a true professional. He wants to do a good job and earn your business. He’s honest, conscientious, and what I call a straight shooter. He informed me of my options and what makes sense short and long-term. I’m often a do it yourselfer, but super busy right now. Rick not only did a great job, but I also learned a lot about how my system works, how to maintain it, and what to look for when it breaks down in the future. Just a great experience all around. GRAND SLAM AIR HAS BEEN AMAZING!

Rick at grand slam air has been been amazing. My AC has stopped working twice in the last two years in the hottest part of summer. Both times Rick was here within hours to take care of the problem. We could not have been happier with his promptness and professionalism.

ENDED UP FIXING MY HEATER FOR A THIRD OF WHAT THE OTHER COMPANY WAS CHARGING

glad I called Grand Slam Heating and Air after I had gotten a different estimate for heater repair. he diagnosed the problem and it turns out the severity of the problem was not to the extent of what I was told previously. he ended up fixing my heater for a third of what the other company was charging. I advise that you get a second opinion like I did-- many companies out here are trying to charge you an arm and a leg!
